You want a legendary LAN Seat with a high-end setup, but miss the Legend LAN Seat category? No Panic!

There will also be a Legend LAN Seat for CAGGTUS 2024, just with a few adjustments. You can now sit in a Legend LAN Seat with your mate and enjoy the LAN together!

The Legend LAN Seat will now become a Legend Upgrade - an additional service that you can book from the beginning of next year for €109.00 in the Additional Services Shop. You can find out what is included in the upgrade under additional services .

To give you a first impression of the LAN area, here is a map of the hall (JPG, 113 kB) . As you can see, some rows are marked with a different colour. Light green series are activated when demand is high and are then bookable. All other series will be bookable from the beginning.

The ticket shop will open on 13.11.2023. As last year, the ticket purchase and seating will again be combined. So everything will be done in one go. However, this also means that you must have gathered your mates as soon as the ticket shop opens its doors. The clan leaders then select all the seats they want and order the tickets for all the mates. All the tickets ordered will then be sent collectively to the e-mail address given at the time of purchase.

We will ensure that all mates from big and small clans can sit together by defining the minimum number of tickets that can be bought in our shop on each day. This corresponds to the expected clan sizes.

Are you a clan of over 20 people and would rather not book via our seating tool because there is too much to organize? Don't worry! We will be your support player. You will need to take the following steps:

• As a clanleader you write us from 16.10. until 06.11.2023 an email to info@caggtus.de with the request for individual seating. Please indicate the size of your clan.
• Afterwards we will arrange a short Discord call and reserve suitable seats specifically selected for your entire clan. This reservation is not a booking, however!
• When the ticket shop opens (November 13), each clan leader will be sent a code for their suitable seats and has to forward it to all members of the clan.
• Starting on November 16, the code can be redeemed in the ticket shop and each member can secure a seat in the area we reserved together. Each clan member with a code must pay for their own seat ticket in the shop. This way the clan leader doesn't have to pay for all tickets for the clan.
• The code will be valid until November 30. After this deadline, the reserved seats will be released for general sale.

The Legend Upgrade allows you to have your LAN seat fully equipped with the high-end technology. You arrive relaxed in the LAN area and can start playing right away.

As the holder of a Legend upgrade, the following hardware from XMG , Samsung and uRage awaits you:

  • 32GB DDR5-RAM

uRage has another goodie for you! After the LAN party, you can take all the peripherals home with you.

To get your desired services, you need to follow a few short but important steps. Don't worry, the procedure doesn't take long!

• Step 1: Visit our shops (no longer available) .
• Step 2: On your Online Ticket, you will find a 24-digit number under the barcode. You have to enter these to activate your bookable services. PS: Copy & Paste! ;)
  
  There, you need to enter the letters GB as well as the 24-digit number from your ticket (below the barcode). Our Goodie Bag will then be unlocked for you.
• Step 3: Select your ticket category, then you can see all available services. But don't worry: only the services for which the ticket holders are entitled are displayed.
• Step 4: Now choose your favourite item, enter all the data and book the items conveniently in the shop.
  
  The hot beverage flat from Friday to Sunday can be ordered until March 25th 2024. All other additional services can be ordered until April 2nd or while stocks last.

BOOKED OUT! Backforce is back at the start and offers you the opportunity to borrow one of their gaming chairs for the entire duration of the LAN party and test it in detail.

To pick up your chair, you will need an identification document. Headsets can be picked up during these fixed periods of time:

Yes, the following offline tournaments will take place in the LAN area:

The role LAN24.user on Discord? Of course, we have that too! As soon as you have registered and logged in to the tournament platform, you can click on your user picture at the top right and verify your Discord account in the settings. When you enter our server for the first time, you will automatically be assigned the role.

And if you are already on it: Enter "/verify" in one of the CAGGTUS channels, so you perform the action yourself. Only then will your name light up in the corresponding colour.

We provide 60 gigabits of internet for the LAN area at the CAGGTUS to ensure super-fast and, above all, maximum parallel download and upload speeds. The Leipziger Messe is its own Internet provider (RIPE member) and can therefore distribute the Internet traffic fully redundantly and fail-safe via the lines.

Each end device receives a public IPv4 address from us - this ensures that you do not end up on any blacklists because too many players access the network via one IP. IPv6 is not currently in operation but is planned for later events.

In principle, there is no throttling of bandwidth with us - the 100 MBit on your connection is available to you without restriction.

Our Internet connections are linked to 2 redundant Juniper MX-204s. These two devices have 4x 100 Gigabit connections, so that there are no limits to the growth of the Internet connection. They are currently connected to our data center network with 40 gigabits each.

Our network consists of components from the manufacturer Extreme.

The two geo-redundant data centers are equipped with 7400-32C and 7720-32C switches (2 each), which provide 32 ports with 100 gigabits each.

Our halls (and therefore also the LAN hall) are equipped with 2 7400-48Y-8C and 7520-48YE-8CE switches (main distributors). These are also fully redundant and are connected to the two data centers with 2x 100 Gigabit each - this means that the hall for the LAN is connected to our two data centers with 400 Gigabit!

The data distributors under the LAN are connected to the main distributor in the hall. We use 5420M-48W-4YE switches there. They are currently connected to the main distributor with 2x 10 Gigabit redundancy. An upgrade to 2x or 4x 25 Gigabit is possible during implementation if required.

Your desk blocks are each supplied with a 48-port switch (ERS-4950GTS, ERS-4850GTS or ERS3549GTS). Each of the switches is connected with 2x 1 Gigabit to one of the data distributors under the hall. To be on the safe side, we always have a third cable on the table to compensate for shortages or failures.

Our WLAN is available everywhere. There are 36 access points suspended from the ceiling in each hall, allowing you to use the WLAN easily. You can activate 10 MBit access with your voucher. The Wi-Fi is designed to supply all LAN participants simultaneously - however, due to the latency and unpredictability of the medium, it is not suitable for fast and latency-critical games.

A separate switch (Extreme 5420-48W-4YE) is available in the guest server area for connecting your servers. The servers are connected with 1 Gigabit copper. The switch is connected with 2x 25 Gigabit to the main distributor of the LAN area, so that fast Internet access as well as accessibility from the LAN is guaranteed.

If you want to bring your guest server with you, you have to send an e-mail to info@caggtus.de by 01.03.2024. You will then receive a detailed explanation of the conditions the server must fulfill, what the on-site process will look like and what other information we need from you.

Nevertheless, the following information is important for a brief overview: On site you will have to report to the Support Center on site and together with our IT team, you will then be given the opportunity to set up your server in the designated room and connect it to the network.

Do you have everything with you? In this LAN checkliste (PDF, 138 kB) you will find a list of all the things you might need. You can simply check off which items have already made it into your suitcase and what you might still have to get. In addition, we've prepared a guide for you on what things you should and shouldn't bring with you during the LAN party. And no, slushie machines are still not allowed. ;)

On our arrival page you can read about the easiest way to get to Leipziger Messe by car or public transport. The entrance to our grounds is via Gate South 1.

If you have bought a Beginner LAN Seat, you can park your car in car park P1. On the map (PNG, 714 kB) you will find the location of the car park and the best way to get to the LAN Area (Hall 1). The shortest route from parking lot P1 to Hall 1 leads past the grounds via Messe-Allee. You will gain access to the grounds after a few meters via Wache Süd2. All information about parking fees can be found on this page .

To avoid having to carry your entire set-up from the car park to the LAN Area (Hall 1), you can park in the short-term car park in front of the hall for loading and unloading.

But please note: The number of short-term parking spaces is limited. The maximum duration here is 60 minutes, after that time we will have to tow your vehicle away for a fee!

Your Expert LAN Seat ticket allows you to park in our guarded car park next to Messeallee. You can see where these car parks are located on the site map (PNG, 714 kB) .

Note: After the check-in at our LAN Area, you will receive a vignette. You need to fill in your license plate number and place this vignette visibly behind the windscreen. If not, we will unfortunately have to have your vehicle towed away at your expense.

Your Legend Upgrade allows you to park directly at the LAN Area. Then you can easily transport your entire setup from your car to your living, playing and resting place for the next four days. The site map (PNG, 714 kB) shows you exactly where the car parks are in Hall 1.

Arriving at Gate Süd1, please show your order confirmation as well as one of your tickets to get access to the event.

Note: After the check-in at our LAN Area, you will receive a vignette. You need to fill in your license plate number and place this vignette visibly behind the windscreen. If not, we will unfortunately have to have your vehicle towed away at your expense.

The Check In will take place at gate 1.6 at hall 1. Starting at 6.00 pm, we will open the entrance to our LAN area, please have your ticket and your ID ready.

Due to our partnership with Backforce, we need to make sure that gaming chairs from outside the event are marked.

At the check in, a barcode will be labeled to your gaming chair and then be connected to your ticket. If you are going to arrive on Friday, go to gate 1.6 and ask for a check in. You will be accompanied to our support center, where your chair will be checked in.

When you are going to leave the event on Sunday, you have to check out your gaming chair again. Only then you are allowed to leave the hall. If you are going to leave before 12.00 pm, bring your chair to our support center and ask for a check out. If you are going to leave after 12.00 pm, go to gate 1.6 and ask for a check out over there. You can leave the hall in both cases at gate 1.6.

If your PC has a small glitch during the LAN and needs a repair, then drop by the Support Centre. The repair service will take a look at the problem and will be happy to help so that you can continue gaming without any worries.

The repair service is open at the following times:

• Thu, 04.04.24: 8.00 pm to 10.00 pm
• Fri, 05.04.24: 11.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. and 6.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m.
• Sat, 06.04.24: 11.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. and 6.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m.
• Sun, 07.04.24: 11.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.

Red Bull will be there with an interactive gaming lounge. Here you can play a few rounds of table football with your mates or travel back in time with a few retro games.

You can already hear your stomach growling through your headset? In the gastro area in the LAN Area you can strengthen yourself with pizza and hot drinks, among other things, and refill your health bar.

For sure! On CAGGTUS Friday it's party time again! The Friday Night Party will take place again from 8 pm to 1 am in front of the Event Stage and you are invited to join us. Get your party wristband at the Support Centre from 14:00 on Friday or between 16:00 and 18:00 at the proPads stand in Hall 3 and get dancing on the dance floor. Not only do the DJs play good tracks, but thanks to Ur-Krostitzer you also get a free drink.

• As the LAN Area is your new home for 70 hours, we have also made sure that you can take a shower.
• If you also bring medication or need medical care during the event, you can report to the medical service at Gate 1.9!
• And if you have questions about tournaments or other things? Just contact the support centre, people there will help you!

Keep the following points in mind when you leave. If you arrived with your own gaming chair or bought your rented chair after the LAN Party, be sure to check out the Check-Out for chairs section.

• The LAN area will be open on Sunday until 4:00 pm. If you still haven't had enough of CAGGTUS, check out the Entertainment Area . It offers entertainment until 6:00 pm.
• Plan enough time for the dismantling of your place.
• Go through your checklist (PDF, 138 kB) to make sure you have packed everything up again.
• If you don't have a gaming chair with you, you can leave the hall at any time.
• Look forward to CAGGTUS 2025. :)

If you are travelling home with your own gaming chair, you must have it checked out beforehand. This is to guarantee that everyone leaves the hall with only the correct chair. Have the following timings saved:

• You can check out via the Support Centre until 12.00 a.m. on Sunday. From there you will be escorted to the exit.
• From Sunday 12.00 a.m. you can check out at gate 1.6.

Note for all those who have rented a chair from Backforce or Maxnomic: If you loved your rented chair so much that you bought it, it will be linked to your ticket and you can take it with you!
