Indie games are what drive the video game world... And that's why one of our most popular sections is now getting even more space – more space for exciting indie games, hidden gems from solo developers and small teams. Incidentally, this year Indie Ground is docked right next to FYNG City.

Gaming, chilling, levelling up together – the Freeplay Area will of course be back in 2026 and will be fully equipped with consoles this year! Whether it's Mario Kart, Smash Bros or other fun games, console gamers aged 12 and over can play here with friends and like-minded people without any pressure.

Our Freeplay Area is unlocking the next level! By popular demand from the community, you can now play titles rated 18+ in the 135 square metre area. Our partner XMG provides the appropriate equipment with powerful gaming PCs.

Need a break from all the festival hustle and bustle? Then relax in the Cosy Game Lounge with its cosy living room décor and a cosy game or two.

Attention retro fans: at various gaming stations, we will take you on a playful journey through all decades of video game history.

Fans of tabletop and trading card games will have their own dedicated hall. Here you can look forward to two major tournament highlights. Among other things, the German Major Series will be stopping off at your gaming festival and inviting you to take part in epic battles. Collectible card fans can look forward not only to a major tournament with space for up to 512 players, but also to the first CAGGTUS Card Show with many private and commercial dealers.

In the Dance Area, you can dance, party and power up with ‘Just Dance with Friends’! Feeling ambitious? Then take on the challenge with the first edition of the CAGGTUS Dance Cup Championship!
